About Us

Laura J. Bischofflaura2

With a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Fine Arts, Laura has over 25 years of experience in the field.  She maintains extensive experience in both residential and commercial design.  The ability to listen closely to a client and understand their objectives clearly is the single most important skill a designer can bring to a project.  Creating solutions that fulfill all parameters including style, function, timing and budget are paramount in all of her projects regardless of size.  This philosophy and commitment has rewarded her with many repeat clients over the years and a base of work derived almost exclusively from referrals.  Laura maintains strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, developers and vendors, most of whom she has partnered with for years.  Her recent work has been featured in several local publications as well as on HGTV.  Laura’s residential work has been the recipient of the distinguished NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) COTY award for Best Design in its class.

Experience

During her tenure in design, Laura has had the privilege of working on a variety of projects throughout the country.  Her experiences range from multi-national corporate work, small tech start ups, to retail and banking.  Many of her projects require large scale project/construction management, furniture standards/specification, facility management, interior architecture and tenant improvements.  Residentially she specializes in kitchen and bath design as well as unique furniture and finish solutions.  She is very knowledgeable in custom cabinetry design and fabrication creating a variety of unique solutions.  Through careful listening and programming Laura works diligently to achieve the goals of the client, keeping design parameters within the desired budget and time line.
